Hospital admissions for addiction treatment
Pre-Admission Process:
The Intake Staff will conduct an initial telephone interview with all prospective patients. (The exception to the telephone interview is when a prospective patient is being admitted after a formal intervention conducted by an Intervention Specialist. Pacific Coast Recovery Center Intake staff will help coordinate the admission with the Family and Intervention specialist.)
The Intake Staff will gather Chemical use/abuse and dependence information, medical (including psychiatric) history and prior treatment/recovery exposure. This will help determine the appropriate treatment options. For the Chronic Pain patient we may request Medical Records prior to admission.
The Intake Staff will educate Family members on the importance of participation in the Family Program.
In addition, the Intake staff will assist you by verifying your insurance. We can then discuss benefits and/or private pay options.
